2026 EAST MEETS WEST JUNIOR CHALLENGE

August 21 - 23, 2026 at the Grande Prairie Polo Club in Alberta.

The weekend will include two polo games, and some local sightseeing. Flights for the junior players coming from the east will be covered by Polo Canada. Visiting players will be billeted to stay with families from the host club. Horses will be provided to the visiting players from the east at no cost. Players selected from the west are responsible for supplying their own horses, as well as for mounting one visiting player from the east. Please contact POLO CANADA if you need a list of local horse suppliers for horse leasing. Players selected from the west are also responsible for their own travel and accommodations at the host club.

HOW TO APPLY: (APPLICATIONS ARE DUE APRIL 1, 2026)

·     Applicants must be junior members of Polo Canada for the past two years (2025, 2026), and in good standing.

·     Handicap: -1 goal to 1 goal outdoor

·     The selection committee will focus on balancing the applicants’ ages and playing abilities when making their selections.

·     Applications are due by April 1, 2026.
